Even though we were staying on the east coast, about an hour and a half from Stone Town, Asoud was able to drive the car to us at the hotel at a minimal charge. The car was in good condition and as advertised. We got our driving permit without any issues and it passed the police check on one occasion. For the drop off- our flight got rescheduled to super early in the morning, which meant we had to be at the airport by 3 am. But even that was not a problem and they made arrangements for someone to meet us at the airport to collect the car.
