The Toyota RAV4 5-door is our most popular vehicle. It seats 5, handles paved and unpaved roads well, and costs just $30/day with full insurance and unlimited mileage included. For budget solo travelers, the RAV4 3-door at $25/day is ideal. For premium comfort and serious off-road capability, the Toyota Prado at $150/day is the top choice.
Yes. Every vehicle in our fleet includes full comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage as standard. There are no hidden fees or mileage caps regardless of which car you choose. We also assist with the Zanzibar driving permit for every rental.
For general touring on paved and lightly unpaved roads, the Toyota RAV4 handles well and offers good ground clearance. For rainy season (April to May), remote east coast beaches, or serious off-road tracks, the Toyota Prado’s full-time 4WD and higher ground clearance is the better choice.
Yes. The Toyota Harrier ($55/day), Nissan Juke ($40/day), Toyota Alphard ($60/day), and Toyota Prado ($150/day) all have automatic transmission. The Toyota RAV4 (both 3-door and 5-door) and Suzuki Escudo are manual transmission.
We have 11 vehicles in total: 2 RAV4 3-doors, 3 RAV4 5-doors, 1 Suzuki Escudo, 1 Nissan Juke, 2 Toyota Harriers, 1 Toyota Alphard, and 1 Toyota Prado. During peak season (July to October and December to January), we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred vehicle.
Yes. The Toyota Alphard is a 7-seat minivan ideal for large families and groups at $60/day. For groups of 5 or fewer, the RAV4 5-door ($30/day) or Toyota Harrier ($55/day) offer comfortable seating and ample boot space.
